Project launch and first steps

On the occasion of their 10th meeting in Alger on February 6th, 2014, the Agriculture Ministers of the 13 CIHEAM members have officially endorsed the creation of MED-Amin, MEDiterranean Agricultural Market Information Network, and demonstrated a strong support for its continued development, as stated in the final declaration of the meeting (see complete text on www.ciheam.org).

The network has held its second meeting in Izmir, on November 6th and 7th, in Turkey, upon the invitation of the Turkish authorities, a founding member of CIHEAM since 1962.
